As shenlongxz says in part, it depends on your spec and your gear.
A MM Hunter with only the 15 quiver/ammo pouch shot speed bonus will be able to weave Steady Shot in
between auto-shots from the Recurve. A BM Hunter with 5/5 Serpent's Swiftness and the same 15 quiver/ammo pouch shot speed bonus will not be able to weave Steady Shot in between auto-shots from the Recurve, and thus the Street Sweeper is the better option.
Rapid Fire, Rapid killing, Troll Berserking, and other haste gear or enchantments should also be considered when making the

TKA SomethingThe gun or the xbow would be my choice, the gun over the crossbow if you have the AV ammo pouch. I got a replacement for my GM xbow at level 66 or so (Hemet's Elekk gun), but couldn't equip it as I didn't have an ammo pouch and AV was pretty much dead as everyone was levelling.
When I did get an ammo pouch (18 slotter, 15 speed, requires honoured with Consortium and level 68) I was level 70 and had an even better gun (Recoiless Rocket Ripper from Steamvaults) so I didn't get to use Hemet's gun at all, which is a shame (even if it was kinda ugly :P).
The reason I say the 2.9 speed weapons is that the 1.8 speed of the bow (1.56 with quiver) makes weaving Steady Shot nigh impossible without delaying your autoshot, therefore lowering your dps. Blood and thunder. I finally got
all that honor saved up and im in front of the honor master right now with 2 ranged weapons to choose from. I just wanted some opinions if i should go with the bow or gun, or mebbe the xbow? My guild says sweeper but i have full epic PvP set(acquired pre BC) and now i just need my ranged. Any input would be appreciated
