OK, here's the nice version. Replace all gear that doesn't have agility on it. Strength and Spirit are absolute crap and will do nothing for you whatsoever. Im assuming since your new you didn't know this. As far as your main weapon....wow, get an upgraded one!
At 29 you should have at the very least a decent ranged weapon since thats your bread and butter. Your gloves are for lowbie druids not hunters, you don't need defense as your pet will be your defense. Make sure you train him with the
most current level of growl, and also make sure its on at all times. If I were you I would make some money with your proffesions and buy of the monkey items. They will have agility and stam on them. are absolute crap for hunters. You want in this order The armor upgrades are ok I guess, but you would be much happier with enchants on your gear. Ask your guild if a lowbie enchanter needs to up his skill level and give you some free enchants (which he should being a guildie and all, and mats at your level are stupid cheap). Main thing upgrade that bow! Your almost a 30 and rockin a sub-par main weapon. Even though you are alliance and I will forgive you for that, you should have at least a
decent dps bow. Look at the dps mainly on the bow and not the color of it. Extra stats on the bow are nice too, but not mandatory. Some bows and guns are designed for rogues/warriors too, so keep that in mind. Have fun

Ive been playing WoW for a couple of weeks now, and I have tried a couple of classes. I have found NE Hunters to be quite good fun to play both as solo and in a group. However...... After a huge amount of graft to get to level 29, I ran into another NELF tonight in Stormwind who was some 9 levels below my own and was kitted out in mostly blue items, with a smattering of green. of his rings, tinkets and weapons (Staff and Bow) were blue as was 4 of his armour items. All of mine are green, give or take, and I was just wondering if I am going going wrong in some noobie way? As a 5 year player, all of
this is fairly new to me!!! The only major difference between my NELF and his was a lack of pet on his part. (Mines a 29 Cat).
